We believe that sustainability and good business are not mutually exclusive but instead go hand and hand. The only way we can prepare our business for future success is by investing and implementing sustainability measure from the ground up. When you come visit our café, you’ll notice several of these investments including our solar panels which power our shop and our zero-emission state of the art roaster. We use biodegradable packaging for our coffee and our to-go items and compost our food waste.
When it comes to choosing partners, we look for craftspeople who reflect our values, those willing to make long term investments in sustainability through quality and innovation. Where possible we try to partner in our local community farmers and artisans. Of course, our coffees are purchased from around the globe. It is important to us that we treat these farmers and producers the same way as we treat our neighbors, with concern for their long-term well being and their ability to make a positive impact on their community.
